The agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Erotic Reads, including the website, listening library, member accounts, direct messages, submission tools, and installable app experience (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Terms.

Erotic Reads is intended for adults 18 and over. You may not use the Service if you are under 18, and you may not help anyone under 18 access mature material through the Service.

Accounts and security

Some features require an account. You agree to provide information that is accurate and current, verify your sign-in email, keep your password private, and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account.

You may enable two-factor authentication and use private messaging where available. The Service manages message encryption so a password reset or sign-in on a new device does not require a separate recovery code or device key.

Readings you submit

You retain any rights you own in writing, recordings, artwork, and other material you submit. Submitting material does not give you ownership of material owned by someone else. You represent that the title, credits, uploader or reader attribution, source information, and other details you provide are accurate.

For every submission—including an original reading, a reading of a pre-existing text, or a pre-existing recording—you represent that you have all rights, permissions, consents, licences, or other legal grounds needed for Erotic Reads to host and make it available. Where relevant, this includes rights in the underlying text, translation, performance, sound recording, cover image, names, voices, and other supplied material, plus any consent required from authors, performers, producers, publishers, recording owners, or depicted or identified people. Public availability elsewhere does not by itself establish permission to upload a work here.

You grant Erotic Reads a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence, to the extent you are authorized to grant it, to host, store, reproduce, encode, adapt for technical presentation, display, publicly perform, stream, distribute, and make available your submission through the Service; to create technical copies and backups; and to display its title, credits, excerpt, cover image, source details, and other supplied context. This licence lasts while the submission is available through the Service and for the limited period reasonably needed to complete removal, backups, legal requests, or dispute handling.

We may format, annotate, edit for clarity or safety, decline, unpublish, or remove a submission. Publication is not guaranteed, and editorial approval does not mean we endorse every statement in a submission.

What is not allowed

You may not use the Service to:

• share sexual material involving anyone under 18 or any non-consensual sexual material;
• infringe copyright, privacy, publicity, trademark, or other rights;
• misstate authorship, performance, ownership, permission, provenance, or uploader identity;
• harass, threaten, dox, impersonate, exploit, or target another person;
• upload malware, evade security or moderation, scrape the library, or disrupt the Service; or
• use the Service for unlawful activity or to bypass the age gate.

We may suspend or close accounts, restrict access, and preserve or disclose information when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect people, investigate abuse, or comply with law.

Messages and member conduct

Direct-message text and attached images are encrypted before they are stored by the Service, and the application decrypts them for authenticated participants. The people in a conversation remain responsible for what they send and receive. Encryption does not protect content from a recipient who chooses to copy, share, or report it, from a compromised account or device, or from authorized service access needed for security, support, or legal compliance.

Do not use messaging to send threats, abuse, illegal material, or content that violates another person’s consent or privacy. We may act on reports and may disclose information when legally required.

Copyright complaints

We respect copyright owners. If you believe material infringes your copyright, use the process on our Copyright Complaints page. We may remove or disable access to material while reviewing a complaint or when otherwise appropriate, and may restrict uploads, suspend, or close accounts for repeated infringement. If you believe we made a mistake, you can request a review using the same process. Other safety, privacy, or consent concerns may be reported to the contact listed there or to [email protected].

Memberships, billing, and downloads

Free, Plus, and Premium describe access within Erotic Reads. Paid memberships are offered and billed through Patreon and are also subject to Patreon's terms and policies. Patreon—not Erotic Reads—collects and processes payment details. Prices, taxes, currency conversion, trials, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and payment disputes are handled through Patreon unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Linking Patreon lets us confirm your tier and provide the associated benefits. Disconnecting Patreon from Erotic Reads does not cancel a Patreon membership or stop billing. Cancelling through Patreon may preserve benefits until Patreon reports that the paid entitlement has ended. Moderator and administrator accounts may receive Premium privileges without a paid membership.

Plus currently includes ad removal and image attachments in private messages. Premium currently also includes authenticated downloads of published recordings. A download is for personal use and does not transfer copyright or authorize redistribution, republication, sale, or any use beyond what the rights owner or applicable law permits. Benefits may change prospectively as the Service develops; material changes will be communicated where reasonably possible.

The Service as provided

The Service is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not promise that it will always be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that any particular submission will be published or remain published. Audio, writing, and member communications are provided for personal, literary, and entertainment purposes, not as professional advice.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Erotic Reads and its operators, contributors, and service providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits a right or remedy that applicable law does not allow us to limit.

Changes and contact

We may update these Terms as the Service changes. The updated version will be posted here with a new date. If a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we will provide notice where reasonably possible. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
